Let us all rise

Today I want to share with you a poem.

Still I rise, by Maya Angelou. It speaks to what I am living now. I have to clarify my  boundaries in relation to the very people I come from. It is painful. The chose is between being brave or succumbing into complacent and pretense.

I chose braveness. Which is real and still lonely. Not everybody, even family or friends, wish to get out there.

My belief is that though my experience I can inspire other people to look inside and create a life rooted in their heart. Their authenticity. The heart is the spring of energy, love, empathy and joy. We have got to search for joy in a world like ours.

Let the light surround and contain us all.
